Kade Dworkin missed his calling. He should have been a TV or radio show host.
A few days ago, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Kade for his “meet my followers” series of podcasts in which he gets to know… well, some of his followers on Twitter. The premise is basically this: 140 characters at a time is not the best way to get to know someone. Talking to them live is still a more effective mode of communications.
Not a bad way to get some background info and trivia on me, what I do, and how I do it.
Background notes: We had to stop the interview for a few seconds due to a parrot brawl outside my office. Yes, parrots. Screeching. (True story.)

One final note about my new Twitter avatar (see below): That’s not a moustache I’m sporting in that photo. It is just a day’s worth of stubble. The stache is more or less an optical illusion.

I completely disagree. Yours is AKIN in both spirit and direction of growth, as Mr. Selleck’s here. I have blown the avatar up large. I am quite convinced, and evidence on Twitter this morning (alarm, panic and complaints about too heavy facial hairs) back me up!
If I could indeed grow a Selleck stache, trust me, I would. If only to torture my mother.
I’ve tried. I can’t grow one. It takes months to grow half a centimeter. I swear, the stache is an optical illusion. A trick of the light in that photo.
I’d have to say the brow wrinkles are more like Tom Selleck’s than the facial hair – just not enough of it!

I am ridiculously humbled that you would put this out into your blog feed.
As for me missing my calling, I’m still young…only 26 years old. Definitely trying to find a way to take advantage of my interest in this space now. I guess I take after my uncle who was a DJ in Miami for years and years.
