Great news: “Social Media ROI: Managing and Measuring Social Media Efforts in Your Organization” (Que Biz-Tech / Pearson) released almost two weeks early.
It is available now in the US and Canada on Amazon.com (paperback & Kindle) and BarnesAndNoble.com (paperback and Nook), and should be available in the EU and the rest of the world in a few days. If you enjoy bucking convention, you can also buy it directly from the publisher by clicking here.
The book will soon have its own website with additional content, news and other cool stuff, but for now, feel free to check out its Facebook page for discussions, news, photos, videos (soon) and other goodies: Facebook.com/SocialMediaROI. Feel free to share pictures of your shiny new copies with the rest of us, videos, reviews, etc. A few of the early entries (Amazon doesn’t waste any time):
Speaking of reviews, I encourage all of you to post yours on Amazon.com (or even BarnesAndNoble.com). especially if you found the book helpful.
You can also follow discussions about the book and many of its topics by searching for #smROI on Twitter, and check into the book using GetGlue.
I can’t wait to hear from all of you.
Oh, and thanks for Geoff Livingston for being the first to give the book a home on Flickr:
Now go forth and recommend this book to every business owner and manager you know: CEOs, COOs, CMOs, CFOs, Advertising execs, PR managers, Customer Service managers, Sales managers, Corporate Communications, HR, Legal… It will help them all understand how to plug social media into their business (and their clients’ business).
More soon.
Cheers.

This is an amazing time for you Olivier, I can remember some heated discussions on this topic three years ago, I am please to say I am the owner of your book. I wish you great fortune and that this is the tip of the iceburg of your success.
It is an honour to call you friend, talk to you soon.
Owen

Thank you.
Great news about the book Olivier!
You had the attention of Australian marketers at ADMA Forum in Sydney last year so I’m glad the rest of the world now has the opportunity to read your wise words.
Come back to Oz some time soon!
Matt
My trip to Sydney was way too short. Can’t wait to come back to Oz.
Cheers.
Congrats Olivier!
Thanks, Ken.
Kudos Oliver!
Awaiting to find it in Indian book stores.
Let me know when it shows up there. Better yet, send me a photo.
awaiting the arrival of my purchased copy
Great OB. Looking forward to Read it.
Just ordered the book, bad news is that it takes 30 days to reach here in Bangalore.
This will be my first book which I’ll buy from Amazon in coming days. Can’t Wait!
Cool! Thanks, man.
Great work, I will get my hands on this book very shortly! I gotta say though, you could have done more with the cover, you’ve got way more personality then that :p
Thanks Matt. Yeah, the cover is a little plain, but there’s a reason for it:
1. The book is part of a series (Que Biz-Tech) which, kind of like the “… For Dummies” series, uses similar covers for all of its releases.
2. The book isn’t really written for readers of the brandbuilder blog. I mean… it is, but I wrote it for business people, many of whom don’t really read my blog. The cover needed to be a little more straight and to-the-point in order to catch their eye.
A more creative cover would have looked great, I agree, but it might have made the book less easy to spot on the shelf. So… in this case, a simple design like this works.
No worries though. There will be more books after this one. Depending on the subject matter, we’ll have more chances to have some fun with the covers then. I look forward to that.
Cheers, man.
Yea, I am not a fan of fancy and distracting design either, however I’m not sure I’d pick it up in a book store if I didn’t recognize your name
I will however pick up this book and very much looking forward to it. Are you going to do an audio version?
Cheers,
Matt
Olivier – I just bought the book, as a fan of your ideas. Reinforcing your ROI approach for adopting social media for measurable business improvement is the new report by The Center for the Edge: http://bit.ly/epudT1
Would this book be available in Pakistan anytime soon? I so want to read it but I dont have a credit card to buy it from Amazon
I hope so. Amazon.com should be carrying it internationally sometime this month.
