wordle is so much fun!
For a presentation recently I used a Wordle tag cloud instead of a company background information slide. The audience were wowed, with questions as to how I created it. I gave them all the website and encouraged them to go away, use and be creative.
I spent more time than should be allowed tweaking the font, the colour, the placement of the text.. it’s a geeks dream.
It is indeed a geek’s dream. I’ll give you that.
It’s also a pretty sweet content diagnostic tool. For example, I thought that “design” and “conversations” would be bigger. I need to start focusing on them more.
Such a powerful illustration tool. I may switch to a single word cloud slide for my presentations instead of a multi-slide format.
If you go to my bio page, I’ve also created one for my professional background – pulled from my resume. Very interesting.
oooh thats cool, thanks for that I am going to go give it a whirl!
Wordle is a cool little online tool, my boss likes to use it to make decorations for our office. Got to love all the fun little toys you can find online these days.
